Paint Up Close   

I was impressed by how this plane was painted.  The finish is a very high quality base coat clear coat.  They must have sprayed a couple of layers of clear then blocked it down followed by another couple of layers of clear before final sanding and buffing.  The surface is completely flat.  You can not feel the strips shown in these pictures.  I shot these in the hanger under the hanger lights.  There is a bit of dust on the surface (this stuff is not in the paint).  I'll pull it out of the hanger next time and shoot some pictures in the sun (after wiping it off).
